Nature of problem: The program calculates the Clebsch-Gordan and Racah coefficients, using conventional formulae, the improved codes due to Wills and Bretz and in terms of generalized hypergeometric functions of unit argument defined by us. The Clebsch-Gordan coefficient arises in the coupling of two angular momenta and the Racah coefficient arises in the recoupling of three angular momenta. These coefficients are of fundamental importance in nuclear, atomic and molecular physics calculations. |
