Nature of problem:
The problem of transforming a given polynomial area preserving mapping of the plane to itself into a twist mapping is considered following the Birkhoff perturbation method.

Solution method:
A recursive algorithm for polynomial non resonant mapping is used for fast and low storage computation of the Birkhoff series.

The only restrictions are imposed by the storage available.
