Nature of problem:
Differential equations of the form psi''(x) + (lambda-V(x))psi(x)=0, x in range (a,b) with boundary conditions psi(a)=psi(b)=0 are solved. The main purpose of this paper is to present a perturbative procedure for the calculations of approximate eigenvalues of the Schroedinger equation.
The differential equation is solved by the method described in  and summarized in the long write-up.
The steplengths used in solving the differential equation are automatically adjusted by the program in accordance with the accuracy conditions supplied by the user.
Test run which accompanies this paper .994s to compile and 0.74s to execute.
