Manuscript Title: A program to calculate the radial parts of interaction matrix elements between two hydrogenic wave functions as power series.
Authors: M.J. Jamieson
Catalogue identifier: ABWA_v1_0
Distribution format: gz
Journal reference: Comput. Phys. Commun. 1(1970)437
Programming language: Fortran.
Computer: CDC 6400.
Operating system: SCOPE.
RAM: 10K words
Word size: 60
Keywords: Atomic physics, Hydrogenic Wave function, Radial integral, Interaction, Matrix element, Power series.
Classification: 2.7.

Nature of problem:
The study of the collisional excitation of atoms by charged projectiles involves interaction matrix elements. These can be reduced to a sum of radial integrals involving hydrogenic wave functions, multiplied by functions of R. The integrals are calculated analytically to yield power series in R.

For large principal quantum numbers certain dimensions need to be increased.

Running time:
Typically 0.2 seconds.
