Nature of problem:
To find explicit expressions for the basis states of unitary group canonical representations which are basis states of representations of symmetric groups, so labelled by symmetric-group representation labels.

Solution method:
Find all allowed index classes, and tableaux ordinals, obtaining the symmetric group matrices.

Usable for any unitary group representation for which time and storage are available. Some modifications are needed for two-digit numbers.

Unusual features:
Recursion is used to find index classes and decomposition of frames.

Running time:
Through S(3), SU(4) : 6 s.
